Our Story
Since we've opened our doors in 2003, Giclée Printing and Framing has gratefully and humbly fulfilled the creative visions for hundreds of clients looking to preserve and display their most precious masterpieces. These clients- including talented painters, photographers, antique collectors, and family-heirloom holders- have trustfully returned to us again and again, granting us the incredible five-star reputation we have today as one of the best known small printing and framing businesses here in western Massachusetts.
More than 20 years later, and our focus not only continues on to provide the highest quality prints and custom frames for our people, but a determination to build trust through lasting relationships with each and every wonderful client through the process.
Meet the Faces of Giclée
Brett Miller
Brett holds the reins as the general business owner and financial wizard behind Giclée. After graduating from Full Sail University school of film, Brett immersed himself in the wild west- professionally photographing beautiful scenes of the Colorado Rockies. After spending several years in the mountains, he returned to his homelands of New England, where he's explored a multitude of trades, including: handcrafting his own frames, working alongside glassblowers in Vermont, providing videography and photography for Mount Snow, and hand-painting Warhammer figures in whatever downtime is leftover. He's the greatest example to anyone that the sky is the limit when it comes to exploring the arts.
Sam Smalley
Sam shares co-ownership of Giclée, and is also a full time photographer, specializing in family + wedding photojournalism and fine art landscape photography. She's been in association with Giclée since 2016 as a helpful hand throughout a wide range of areas- from the behind-the-scenes of marketing, to color specialization in artist proofs. When she's not at Giclée or photographing portraits, you can find her on the local wildlife trails often photographing birds, plants, and waterscapes. She enjoys pairing her photography with creative writings, often using her social media platforms to inspire others to get outdoors for their own enjoyment.
*In December 2023, previous Giclée Printing and Framing of New England owner Lisa Spencer made the decision to retire her time at Giclée and trustfully placed the future of Giclée Printing and Framing into Brett + Sam's hands. We've been overjoyed to have her training, bits of wisdom, and most of all, her fullest support in the places Giclée will go and grow. Since turning over the business ownership, we have been delighted to meet many of Lisa's past connections and have been excited to collaborate on their new art pieces as well. If you are a past customer of either Lisa's or Nancy's, we're happy to share : YES, we do have all of our previous artists' digital archives, dating as far back as 2003, and will continue to keep archives of both past and future orders to come!
